Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Man has made his match ...now it's his problem.

“More human than human is our motto.”

In 2007, director Ridley Scott released BLADE RUNNER: The Final Cut, the “definitive” edition (the work-print feature version), which has since been remastered for theatrical release. Catch it in all its director approved, futuretastic, digital sci-fi glory on the big screen – the way nature intended.

Harrison Ford stars in this fascinating, dark vision of the near future as a policeman who tracks engineered humans–a Blade Runner. In the not-so-distant year 2019, ex-detective Rick Deckard (Ford) is called out of retirement to hunt four genetically engineered humans who have come to earth. Designed to do difficult, hazardous work, the manufactured humans are stronger, faster and smarter than non-engineered humans. They feel no pain or remorse; they are almost indistinguishable from other humans … and they are killing people. Now Deckard must stop them before they kill again. Based on the novel, “Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?” by Philip K. Dick. Also starring Sean Young, Rutger Hauer, Edward James Olmos, Daryl Hannah.

“A visually remarkable, achingly human sci-fi masterpiece.” (Rotten Tomatoes)

“This is perhaps the only science-fiction film that can be called transcendental.” (Entertainment Weekly)

“A masterpiece of dystopian science fiction on film.” (Daily Telegraph)
