Sinners (Presented in 70mm)
“You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”
Following the massive success of both CREED and BLACK PANTHER franchises, American director Ryan Coogler is reunited with one of the stars of those films, Michael B. Jordan, in an entirely new vision of fear: SINNERS. One of the most critically acclaimed and talked about movies of 2025, SINNERS received numerous accolades and awards – including Oscars for Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, and for Best Cinematography.
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan, in a dual role) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. With Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and Delroy Lindo.
“‘Sinners’ is a redemption movie, a revenge movie with elements of Blaxploitation, and certainly a red-blood-soaked horror movie; it’s also deeply romantic and has the rhythms and audaciousness of some of our boldest musicals.” (Filmspotting)
“It’s both a wildly ambitious meditation on American history and a rip-roaring good time.” (Slate)
“It is a phantasm of Black Southern delights.” (New York Magazine / Vulture)
“An awe-inspiring ode to what music means to communities and cultures.” (Chicago Reader)
