The Moment
and it's a movie about brat and charli and a tour but none of it happened but maybe some of it did
The Moment
A rising pop star (Charli XCX) navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut. With Rachel Sennott, Erroll Barnett, Rosanna Arquette, Alexander Skarsgård.
“Steeped in lime green, strobe lights and flashing images, The Moment is a loud, chaotic and occasionally emotional film that puts the life of a popstar front and centre – it’s an extremely engaging viewing that provides something wholly unique.” (Nerdspin)
“Winks at the slight but important difference between artistry and stardom. In “The Moment,” Charli isn’t ripping her contemporaries. Rather, she’s acknowledging that many musicians entertain without actually saying anything interesting.” (Salon.com)
“A blistering take-down of the social media-driven celebrity culture, ‘The Moment’ combines the anxiety-inducing mayhem of ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’ and the omnishambles clusterfuck of ‘The Thick of It’.” (Time Out)
“Made in the muso mockumentary formula of ‘This Is Spinal Tap,’ this satire includes a brilliant cast.” (The Sun)
